noob form NJ
« on: Apr 12, 2005, 03:54:04 PM »
HI every one

I'm from southern NJ    and   have had my 93 toy pick up for some time now.
It has a 3" body lift and was nice loooking when i got it  but now just looks like a beat traill rig  that needs some loving.

I actualy have not been wheeling in a while do to I got hooked on a online game "planetside" :hammerhead:  and spent money on comp parts insted of truck parts. If U vist my web site U can see how outdated it is www.pinelands4x4.com

well it's time to do some loving to my truck and will be looking/asking ???
I turn wrenches for a living  atm i have been with cat for the last 5yrs+  my welding sucks but i am good with hydro/electrical/breaking stuff.

as for upgrades   the truck is my every day driver so  it can't be to much.  but i would like to add 3-4" under that body lift and a rear locker  and maybe 35"

I need to straiting out the engine first and that broken leaf spring and shock from the last midnight trial run i did.  when a friend says o just jump that woop  "just say no"

you really dont want more than 2 " body lift,   3-4 inch suspension lift and a little metal massageing is way better, lots more stable

saw a 94 toy today that got rolled dude had just put a 4 inch body lift and tires on it first bad curve he went into after leaving the shop he rolled it and the cab came off the frame  :smack:  :ack:
