i have to disagree 79coyotefrg, my 87 stock 22re stock trans would slip in low when climbing steep hills, in first gear, so i talked to a few Toyota guys that told me that Toyota designed the weak link or "fuse" if you will into the clutch, so i upgraded to a centerforce 1 and solved the problem. the guys i talked with might have been talking out their butts, but the centerforce does not slip.
