That's a 1997 HZJ75 they have a 4.2L diesel. This guy has turbo'd it and is running some pretty silly boost, so it goes pretty hard.
Rear diff is a full float 9.5"
Front is a reverse cut 8" same as the FJ80, however they have a mini truck style knuckle with a 27 spline CV, but with the inner axle diameter of a FJ80.

It runs the h55F transfer with a Marlin 4.7 chromoly geared ToyBox.

The guy has also sprung it over with custom springs.

It is about to undergo a bit of a transformation shortly, the owner has just ordered a built D60 front and D70 rear from WFO with all the fruit as well as some King 3.0" Coilovers. Unfortunately the Toy front end was not holding up for him, they are a pretty heavy truck and it gets driven really hard at speed.

The 70 series cruisers are everywhere down here, moreso than the mini truck. they have been the workhorses of the mining industry since the mid 80's. They are a great rig, it's a pity you guys didn't get them. I think it was something to do about them competing with GM and Ford in the 1 tonne market??

:)
