I have had a 3.4 early runner, And have a 4.3 early runner now.. I can't imagine wasting my time with the 3rz myself, Yes it is a jump over stock for sure but a lot of work for not so much of a improvement IMO after driving 6 or 8 of them.. The 3.4 to me is a sweet motor that is smooth and able to go a whole bunch of miles.. the 4.3 is a sweet swap also and just seems like it belongs under the toyota hood.. Seemed like a easier swap over all to me.. it sure is nice always having the power on the hills on the way to the trail
