I'm getting ready to do this too, except I will lose the front clip and go all tube.  I may attach some fenders after it's all done. I want to tie in from the cage in the cab forward to the front framerails to stiffen up the frame.  Also want to tie in shock towers and an engine cage.  Hoping to make this in a neat clean package.  I have an old roll cage off a side by side razor.  I would like to use the bolt together flanges from the old cage to make my engine cage removable.
I would like to look at some pics of what's out there for some inspiration........

What about just looping from your shock towers over the motor with some poly bushings in between..? I'll try and find some of my old rig.

If I made one I would use some ID tube clamps like these from ballistic
