Nice start.  Those are really good looking spring hangers.

I'm confused though... Why would you run propane on a fuel injected motor?  I thought that was more of a carbureted thing.

If you look at grenadedtoys build 72 hilux he is running an re intake with the mixer at the end of the throttle body. It runs really good. As he said propane is easy you can swap an re into it and just propane it not have to worrie about wiring it up and all that and you can still stand it on its head.


I dunno if you were going to run the efi intake plenum but I'd ask ryan(grenadedtoy) about it he modded a 5mge throttle body to work with it because you don't have to alter the tps and all that for it to work.

Looks good though im building a first gen to on the side of my 89. Just wanted something else to build on the cheap or whats the reasoning?? I want me dad to wheel my first gen a little the plan was to do it before I put the 89 under the knife and did the 1ton swap but I tore into the 89 before I finished the first gen lol
