I have the same gripe and problem. I've adjusted and re-adjused. It will go away at times when at an idle. Wierd. I've been driving it alot that way. Went on a 800 mile round trip for thanksgiving and no problems eventhough the noise is still there. I do have to say though, it is a bit noisier with Amzoil 10-40.
