I personally think unless you are in competitions, line speed takes a backseat to value.  For a typical toyota truck, a 8K lb winch is adequate, and the Ramsey is hard to beat.  As I said above, I didn't pick mine out, but I'd buy one again in a heartbeat.  They're cheap and hard to beat.  Wind it up with a nice synthetic line and still end up CHEAPER than most Warn or MileMarker equivalents.

Again, just my  :twocents:

The trailer still gets the cheapo HF winch though, unless I stumble across another free Ramsey...
