I did it. for the most it's a bolt on deal. have to pull the axle bearings to change the backing plate.
the problem is the drum has a bigger hole for the bigger hub on the newer axle. I have a shop make a spacer to fill the gap. I like it . I mite have gone with the 11"s if I have knew about them at the time butt the 10"s saem fine for how I use it now. I tow a camp trailer and have a cab-over camper too.
