Your is the possessive form of you.
You're is a contraction of "you are". You're should be used any time you might otherwise use the words...you are.
So...you're not using the correct to explain your situation.
At the risk of being the next example, I'll point out where your mistake above is.

You didn't distinguish the word "You're" in any way so it reads, "You are should..."
A huge part of the problem is the line between spoken and written English is getting blurred. Because of this, written English is being influenced by texting, Ebonics (
spell check even insists that this word be capitalized which goes against the whole idea of Ebonics
) and other slang forms of speech.
