Perhaps some waterproof connection sealer. My car trailer has this silicone stuff on the connectors at the nose of the trailer. I think its also called liquid electrical tape or something like that.
Dieelectric silicone grease like the kind we use at work. That stuff is the shizz for sure.
Connections can practically live underwater with virtually no trouble at all.
It's awesome on battery connections too.
Well, I got some more stuff done over the last few days. The "elbow smasher" has been fixed.
I found this cool looking material at a fabric store and it was on sale too!
I picked up some 2" thick foam padding and a small sheet of 1/4" plywood. This is what I came up with. Not my finest work for a first time but I'm satisfied for now.
