It is all in the quality of the pipe/tube you buy, the weld quality, and cage design. it was stated earlier that most of you trust the tin foil roof of your daily driver at highway speeds. there are plenty of poop pipe cages out on the trails that have taken a hellofa beating. So to each his own. A pipe bender is made for pipe a tube bender is made for tube. Use the proper tool for the job.
