Well, first of all, it was a 20 pound bird.
It went on the grill to be slow smoked at 6 am. Well, to all the internet bbq sites, they said at least 30 minutes for each pound. Well, 10 hours later!!
Just like predicted, it came out of the bbq/smoker.
And I had some help from time to time!
And in between stokin the coals, wood for smoke, and beers, I'd try to slip in a nap or two!
It turned out really good.
And next time I'll have the wife get a smaller bird.
No, Nate, I don't think there will be any left for you to sample. Just look at the picture and smell the smoke filled air there!
