Just curious why, OOPs....... I usually do tear down completely just to check everything out but sometimes take the shortcut if I just had it torn apart recently
For me it is easier to tear it all apart. I have arthritis in my hands and wrists and wrestling that whole unit is a bummer. I also think that if you are going in there to change a blown Birfield you can do a much better job of cleaning it out.
