With the rear DS being in the middle the slip joint doesn't move much. I alway just make so it's about 1"-1 1/2" of down travel, or shorter then the total length and using a stock slip joint.

3 CAT scans a MRI and some time with the shrink and it's comfirmed. I'm just not right in the head.
