ok I pulled the shifter out and I manualy put it in the gear i did both shift rails independantly of each other but now you tell me that both of the rails have to be all the way back for it to be in 4 low 
Well, you go down to go in to 4wd (right shift rail moves forward) then over to the right (stick moves to left shift rail) then forward one click to neutral (left shift rail moves back) then forward another click for 4 low (left shift rail moves back more). So then, with the right shift rail all the way forward, and the left shift rail all the way back, that should be 4 low. Unless I'm all fucked up.
