its a really good tire and i wouldnt waste it burning them up just driving around town. get the radial tire if you plan on DD it. yes they are a great tire, there as commonly used as the MTR. the tread last pretty well but from what ive seen in person and have read the side lugs dont last as long at all on the 39.5s as do the 42s.
