Take the driveshaft loose and forget about it. I won't flat tow anything with the drive wheels on the ground. I know a guy that has a Sami behind a Motor home. Sami dropped into gear. I did the math and the motor was tuning about 14k if the tires hooked up. Needless to say sami was dead.

I might stop and check for heat on the diff. If it's under 125 I wouldn't worry about it. 125 it will be hot but you should be able to keep you had on it of a little bit.
