Here comes the heat, time to fix the ac
« on: May 17, 2010, 02:25:18 PM »
My 79 with 20r isn't blowing at all.  This past summer my dad said the ac worked when he had it.
I know that I need a new blower motor and fan, but am having trouble finding one.  Has anyone used a different blower?  It'd be really nice to have ac, heat, defrost again.

Have you checked to see if its the motor or just the relay?  The relay is kinda by the skinny pedal.

I'm thinking motor as I can hear it trying.
I'm having a little electric snaffu now though.  At night my lights pulse, as does the radio all the time, and occasionally I have to rock the truck/hit it with a hammer to get it to start.  Woohoo!!!  I hate electical problems.
