My bad bud, I just saw the year of your truck. that might be the difference why your ECU's are interchangable. My computer on my 95 burned out, and I replced it with a used one. Unfortunatly the one the shop ordered was for an A/T, which the  mechanic said would not work with a manual. Glad to here your back up and running.
