i think the noticalbe difference is rather huge. the numbers may not be all that...but the 5vz is everything we 3.0l owners wanted to begin with. more power and upgradable to well over 300 fhp, tows better, climbs better and it's also less thirsty(than the 3vz). i am always movin ish around and appreciate all the reliable power i could get outa yots. the 2.7 is an awsome plant too. it all comes down to goals for the rig i suppose. for me....it's a supercgharged, well breathing, 3.4L '98 or '99.
