when i bought my 79 the odometer didn't work, so i just marked the box [ not the true miles] due to broken odometer or whatever it said. I think the big thing is just saying what's up with your rig when you sell. even if the odometer was working it would have turned over a few times by now. funny the speedo and trip meter still works.
