Thanks for backing me on that one Glen. I'm running an 82 22r block with a 78 20r head , 22r valvles aluminum rocker assembly and the dual row timing.  There is no better way to make one of these motors perform on a budget.  :biggthumpup:

i ran one  for a long time  till i dropped a exhaust valve at about 7000 rpm  :yikes:   

when i had to bore  the block  the  20R  head wouldnt stay sealed  so i put a ported 22R head on  :down:
