you need to be running some castrol 20-50   thats what i run during the summer

fix that hose,  if  it breaks  you can loose  all :attention: i said ALL  of your engine oil in about a mile, :down:  dont ask me how i know  :down:

with 20-50  i run 80 psi at start up,  then  as the engine warms  it  comes down,  at 180*  at idle  i have about 40psi, on the  road   around 50-60 depending on rpm,
when the weather gets cooler i switch to 10-40  but  NEVER  USE WALMART OIL

 
Gotcha man. I was wanting to go to a thicker oil but i didnt know whether or not it was ok. Whats the different in that 20-50 than 10w30? just thicker? thanks again
