Other engines like a 4.3 chevy are great swaps because you can get some extra paower without adding all the drivetrain weight of a v8 swap, tires.
a chevy 4.3 has the weight of a v8...weighs the same as my buick 350(450lbs)...10 lbs lighter then a ford 302(460lbs)..
that and the distributor in the back makes that swap crappy in my eyes and i'm sure in others...but i'd agree and go with the toy 2.7
a chevy 350 weighs in at 575(65lbs shy of a buick 455)...crazy ...chevys are just heavy motors in general...and have softer casting metal compared to buick and toyota(lots of nickle content)
