Write you Senator or Congressman and tell them you want them to vote to allow the use of the US's own natural resources including those in Alaska and off the coast to drive down the percentage of energy resources we import from OPEC countries.
"Striking" isn't going to change the minds of OPEC or the speculators paying over $61 a barrel. We've got enough oil under our control to last 'til the 2nd coming...we just have to grow a pair and stand up to "Big Environmentalism". Not only would it be good for the US, it would be bad for the bad guys... we wouldn't be financing terrorists or their supporters if we weren't giving them our $$$$.
