I would have to look and see the distance between my MR2 seats right now but they do flex up a little at the edges of my Tuffy console but not enough to bother me. Would your seats flex just enough to allow the 6.5 inch width? Also if people see it they are more likely to snag it, outta sight outta mind. In the glove box and in the center console.
