Justina, there is a guy that goes by Randii on PBB. He did the first Marlin transmission to engine swap 8? years ago. I do not know the engine details but it was done. There is a specific bell housing to find. That is all I know.

I've been in touch with Randii on the PBB (I have a thread over there as well) and we've been chatting budget ways of resolving. Still trying to keep with the 22RE or 2.6
Been real busy though so I haven't had much time to work on this... but I got the Ford on the road so now I am in no hurry.
