Topic: Ford NP435 transmission to a Toyato 22R engine ?

Does anyone know if A/A , Novak or anyone that makes a bellhousing adapter to mate the Ford NP435 transmission to a Toyota 22R engine? I know A/A makes an adapter kit to couple the Ford NP435 transmission to a Toyota stock case but what about using the Toyota engine?   I could stuff a 302 in it but then won't I have smog issues?  Or do they smog it on the visual to that engine? If so does A/A make engine monts to put it in a Yota? Any help is much welcomed. Thanks

you can swap in a 302 if you want, just has to be the same year as the truck or newer, and have all smog equipment, then you head to the referee.

ott makes a kit for a sm420 and sm465, but i dont know of any for the np435.

I will call a/a about the np435 adapter. If not I will be sellingth etwo np435/np205 coos that I have. I have 2 np435 mated to np 205  out of 77 an d78 Ford f150s.
