Re: Toyota Drivetrain in a Suzuki?

I've got a sammi with all the Toyota stuff (22RE/tranny/solid axles). Bought it as a runner, its a hack job so I have lots to do and/or redo but its a hoot to drive. Right now it is just stock truck parts rolling on 31's, future plans include Jeep springs, 34" LTB's, 5.29's, 4.7 transfer case and crossover steering.

Buddy of mine has one stretched and linked on 35's with 22R/toyota crawl box/Dana 300/Dana 44's. When he finds a turbo tranny, its getting the 3.4 Taco V6 he has sitting in the garage

With the 22R(E) and stock wheelbase you can use a stock front shaft as the rear shaft. Cut the radiator support to move the rad forward and keep the engine fan or get an electric one on the front of the radiator. That's how mine was done, everything but the electric fan and the extra front shaft came off a rusted POS donor

3RZ might be a little harder as I understand the bellhousing is longer. I'm not going to try one until I have a bellhousing that works with the turbo tranny in my parts collection

Hope this helps!
