No... I don't have money for that kinda caliber build.

One day, maybe...

Darn nice work you do.

Maybe in a decade you'll be ready to get rid of it, and then I'll be willing to throw down some coin.

Found a factory Sami dash clock at a wrecking yard for cheap (along with a spare hood, windshield frame, and soft top bar) so I had to get them. taking a sami apart in a wrecking yeard without a impact screwdriver or cold chisel and hammer for those damn glued and rusted sami phillips screws - BLOWS! But we got it somehow (thanks Billy for the help).

Got a hole cut in the dash, found the factory plug on the harness, pluged it in, grabbed a battery and tested it. Woohoo - it works plus the lighted back ground of the clock is near perfect - score on that.

I didn't realized the dash was so dirty unitl I downloaded the pict. not a big deal - just surprised....

Got (4) 1.5 wheel spacers installed and then I flex tested it to see my tire to coilover clearance and to determine how much I'm going to need to move the front upper coilover over mounts. Got I solid 40" of flex - more than I was expecting and honestly more than I need because once I fix the upper coilover mounts (coilovers hitting frame) and air down to trail pressure that number will increase.

Don't know if you remember, but before the tire was hard into the coilover before tehe wheel spacers.....

And here is my driveline angles while flexing - looks good to me.

And full droop on the front suspension. Looks decent - but I'm not real happy with the mechanical steering, I can see myself in the future swapping it out for full hydro. but no way can I afford that now.

And here I am starting to cut off the mounts to redo them. Looks like I'm going to move each of them outboard about 2 1/2"..... I hate doing things twice.

42" isn't to bad Rick.  I would agree with you though on the steering.  Its so hard to put conventional steering in though with that much flex.  We ran into the same thing on the last rig I worked on.  We ended up going to full hydro.

Are you going to run your winch down to the axle for an adjustable limiting strap?

It works so nice I love how mine handles at speed when I cinch both the front and rear winches down.

So when is the proposed trail test?

looks awesome Rick, I expect nothing less of you!

look's like the steering may become an issue (eventually)  which can be fixed w/ full hydro... you'll absolutely love it.

So over the holidays, I was mostly a bum and didn't do anything major on Tuki (like get it wired!). But I did manage to get the new front upper coilover mounts made (now 5" wider than before) and I made a removable Engine Bar. After another driveway flex test, the coilovers now clear the frame rails and the tires like they should.
