And now for the stupid newbie ?
.....is it really worth the hassle? I am on the fence about this because I want to carry a spare tire but I don't a rear tire on a swingout bumper set up. I would rather put it inside with my tools and not worry about it or have to do the work of bobbing it. I can see the advantage of departure angle.
Maybe shorten up enough to put the tire in at an angle (kinda prerunner style) with tools underneath the front of it. Best of both I guess.
I am trying to make the decision soon before I start building bumpers and stuff. What to do?!
