my dad bought a 69 corona brand new...and rolled it in 71...wish he still had it

I've always thought about getting another Celica from that body style but they are rare. The big problem in finding one is that they had to come out with the stupid shock absorbing bumpers during that model and the later ones have this big ugly bumper instead of the molded form fitting bumper when that model came out. Though these pictures show that the bumper continued outside the U.S. so now I'm wondering if under all that trim there lies a way to put one of the early bumpers on the later models. :eyebrow:
