Actually, this is good to know. Hey Glen, I did not know that.

Nate, my best mileage was 63 MPG back in the summer on the GS500E, and I could average at least 50, but since then, I have not gotten over 50 MPG at all.. So I guess Carbs run a bit rich with colder weather too


Well, another thing, colder air is of course more dense, so it can hold more parts of oxygen per cubic unit. So typically, the chance of detonation decreased with the decrease in intake temperature, so they dont have to have as great of gas in order for an engine to run properly.

they dont have to refine it as much,  so its actually cheaper for them to make,   so  prices should come down not go up :smack:   hey Mikey  whats gasoline cost  over yonder
