I know there is a lot of Aussie Locker discussion on this board, but this thread is for two simple questions:
(1) Have you, or do you know of anyone that has, broken an Aussie Locker? Describe setup and driving style.
(2) If you have one installed, how long have you had it without breakage? Describe setup and driving style.
i had one in the rear of my 85 xcab with 35x16 boggers and dual cases, broke the crap out of it going up a loose grade in a rock quarry, no bouncing or turing, just all the weight of the truck in the rear and pedal down, it was in for a year before hand, and it was warrentied out, i sold the axles before i installed the new one, but a buddy of mine bought em and wheeled the con with 37s for 2 years with no probs
