I live in Norway,I have done the solid axle swap on my 96 Hilux.
I and you have the same front suspension IFS and frame as the American truck and 4Runners from 86-95. The Tacoma is way different.
U can put any IFS lift kit you want as long as itīs for Pickup 86-95
But I would have spent some extra cash and went for the SAS
Try to find a Hilux solid front axle from 84 and up to 96.
Order the SAS kit from MC 4" springs in front and 5" in the rear. that will carry your extra weight
