More importantly, and the whole purpose for even using a relay, is to mount the relay as close to the lights and the main power supply as possible. If your battery is in your engine bay, and your lights are in the back, then it's almost useless to use a relay since you will still have a resistance issue with the lenghty wires.
In this case, Instead of dishing out $$ for the relay, get yourself some good 12 or 14 gauge wire for the power supply and grounds
