Yeah, there are difinately other things that would be worth the money before an electric fan. On the other hand, if you can get one for free, it wouldn't be a bad idea to rig it up. I always carried a spare stock fan which I did end up needing. Anyway, in summary, don't spend money on it, if you're having heating problems get a three row turbo radiator first.
