I come from poverty, sub poverty really, I can survive.
I'm prepping to make survival mode less painful.
Poverty... well that may somewhat subjective.
As a little boy I remember the 6 of us living in an old Army tent... didn't have a house.
I remember being cold and hunger at times.
I remember having to pee in a coffee can. I assume because the outhouse was too far away. Our neighbors were black.
Our next-door neighbor today (of 15 years) is a black family. 3 beautiful young adult children, and a wonderful Mom and Dad. As nice a family as I could imagine for next-door neighbors.
I have a couple camping tents, sleeping bags, a little porta-potty, Coleman stove, and a year's worth of toilet paper, so I guess I'm ready for a SHTF event?
