I couldn't get my 1983 pickup to pass smog. Just a little too high maybe 10-15% high on HC. Random stumbling idle. Stalling after 15 seconds of perfect idle or coming to a stop. Days of troubleshooting and throwing money at the problem. Rebuilt the carb, cleaned the egr, new vacuum lines, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, oil change, cleaned and added dielectric grease in every connection. I was so defeated. With one last ditch effort I found a link to this thread in a yotatech forum. This was the fix. I took me 15 minutes to execute. Thank you so much!!!
