After 4 days I got the new engine to fire last night and it’s running great, I need to adjust timing and the carb a little more. One thing I may have screwed up, this is my first rebuild, is the throw out or pilot bearing. The pilot is new and a Toyota nachi brand and was installed flush on the crank and spun smoothly after. When I was cleaning around the engine bay and bell housing, a clip on the throw out bearing came loose and I put it back on, not 100% if I put it back correctly. Anyways there’s a nice rattle/chatter when I get to the top of each gear and goes away when I engage the clutch and shift to the next gear then reappears for a second until I accelerate  :smack:
Could be bad, but it ain't.
