my one year old son broke a cv joint idling up a hill from our favorite campin/fishin spot (223:1) so i saw it as foreshadowing to the following event :thumbs:

hes not allowed to drive  :driving: anymore, but i let him weld, cause hes pretty good...

we used generic cj/yj hanger for the front drop mount...

gas was cranked at 35 cfm cause it was sooooo windy---------->splatter....844runner, you can use the jigs anytime you need, im just passing them along for other axle swappers, mark langford gave them to me for the same purpose....

i dont do bodywork marlin, cant keep up with the dents in my truck after ever trip up the hill, but if you guys ever need a welder to help andy with all the fabbin:D:D:D

im using a miller matic 175 and 75/25 gas, but the more i work outside the more im thinkin flux core(windy)...


as for andy, the work on the rear end of the double cab truck in the projects section looks awesome(im jealous) !
