IFS got a bad rap I think mostly because of the smaller 7.5 diff they used and IFS was released in the middle of the mega-lift 80's era, no I don't miss that, yes I lived through it, no I was not in a diaper I was driving an IFS truck. Neither the stock solid axle or IFS shafts are good, why do you think they make upgrades. Axles shafts can be beefed up, that already has been proven with some of the IFS Ultra4 cars out there. I so want to do a serious IFS build up, or should I say finish the one I started several years ago. Carry on Mike and enjoy.
