I enjoy it being a metric ton. Not a long ton or short ton, but a metric ton. Which has the proper SI units.

Long ton 2240 lbs

Short ton 2000 lbs

Metric ton 1000 Kilograms or 2204 lbs



 I've used the saying "a metric :pokinit: ton" for years, but never knew the actual values between a metric ton and a short ton.
