are u trying to stay locked in the rear or u want it open?

if open then just trade it to someone looking for a welded 3rd and they have an open 3rd. front and rear diffs are interchangeable if u didnt know.

dont get a TG diff too much $ for something u can find on craigslist . new MC or just get a used one.

u can always swap out the welded carrier for an open one too like out of a stock 4.10 diff which are everywhere for sale for cheap.
