The seal coming out of my transfercase is leaking. I need to replace it. It looks pretty self explanatory remove bolts push back drive shaft, pull out flange. remove seal, put new seal on and rebuild? Are my predictions correct? or is there something I should know.

Thanks

Thats pretty much it. Assuming your flange isn't grooved real bad. Marlin's Eco-seals work great.

parts store lists a bearing also, would it be wise to replace that also?

I had the same problem last year, popped in marlins eco-seal in and it was done in minutes. Has not leaked a drop since, It is nice to get an easy fix once in a while.

No.  Highly unlikely that it's bad.

If that bearing is bad, all the rest of them probably are too.
