Well I was wondering about the freezing proccess..Not so much about the ring..It was to my understanding the ring was not for strength but for limiting the amount the birf can turn..The less it can turn the less likly its to break..I thought about a spool in the front..I hear good and bad like everything else...My lockrite in there now is hammered and seen better days..it still works but its been in there for 4 or 5 long years of beating and has only broke a couple of times but want to upgrade before mcr3..Just wondering others luck..Looks like detroit..still not sure..
