I've had both and wheel with all, some of the XJ guys didn't find humor in my "Jeeps are cute, Barbie drives one" sticker, but Oh well. I have to say I like the Toyota better and the Jeep guys keep me in money to do the mods I want to my truck.
What I liked about the Jeeps were they were short, what I didn't like about them was they were short.
