I kind of figured this was going to be the case. I would probably need to decide which radios to use and then go from there. The radios are just a little pricey for the nice ones so I can't get one now just to measure it. It sounds like I need to do some more reasurch on radios and go from there.
I did make a cardboard mock up of what I am thinking of building but I have to resize it to post, so I will try and do that soon.
