Even with a stock open front diff, you have more steering effort when you are in 4wd. It is slightly more noticeable with the Tru-Trac and the Aussie.
I'm in Az desert terrain so usually some loose dirt, rocks under my tires. I haven't experienced the horrible steering some people report. I'm running Dirty 30's also. I was told I WILL break stock birfs with 35's and bigger. Didn't want to go down that road. Also twin stick.
